Protecting Life, Strengthening Safety: EP at the Regional Technical Forum on Occupational Safety and Health
On September 25, 2025, EPConsult Energies proudly took part in the Regional Technical Forum on Occupational Safety and Health (Foro Técnico Regional de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo, SST), held in Neiva, Huila – the "Capital of Bamboo of the Americas.”
Organised by the Consejo Colombiano de Seguridad (CCS), the forum brought together entrepreneurs, experts, academics, and safety leaders to reflect on a crucial contrast in the region: while the economy continues to grow, workplace safety indicators are in decline. The agenda covered themes such as sustainability, respectful leadership, road safety, organisational well-being, and the prevention of major accidents — all focused on one common goal: protecting life.
EP’s Contribution: Turning Regulation into Sustainable Results
Representing EPConsult Energies, our colleague Cesar Augusto presented our Implementation Roadmap for Decree 1347 of 2021, a structured approach to help organisations build and deploy their Process Safety Management Model for Major Accident Hazard (MAH) classified facilities.
Drawing on EP’s 20+ years of international experience, Cesar showed how regulations can be transformed into measurable, practical, and sustainable outcomes by combining global standards with local requirements.
