Client: Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC)

Description of services:

EP has provided a wide range of services to the ADNOC group of companies over the past two decades, including Feasibility Studies, Concept Engineering, Value Engineering, Life-Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA), HAZOP and HAZID studies, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), SIMOPs studies, Constructability Reviews, Reliability Availability and Maintainability (RAM) Studies, Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) assessments, Asset Life Extension studies and training courses.

Client: Aramco

Description of services:

Since the early 2000s, EPEn has provided specialist services to ARAMCO both directly and through major EPC contractors. We have worked with ARAMCO in the fields of; Marine Logistics and Optimisation, OPEX Optimisation, Value Engineering, Life-Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA), SIMOPs studies. In particular we have worked in maintenance and reliability and have provided more than 10 Reliability Availability and Maintainability (RAM) Studies and Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) assessments.

Client: BlackRock

Description of services:

EPEn provided operations optimisation, OPEX reviews and confined space risk assessment studies for a number of offshore wind projects in the development phase, including Lincs Offshore, Lynn and Inner Dowsing.

Client: BP

Description of services:

We have a long history of supporting BP projects and operations in many regions of the world, particularly in Azerbaijan and the Gulf of Mexico. We have provided Pipeline Feasibility Studies, Shipping Risk Assessments, Quantitative Risk Assessments, Installation Risk Assessments, FMECA Studies and multiple training courses including in Process Safety, Risk Management and Task Risk Assessment.

Client: Cadogan Petroleum

Description of services:

EPEn supported Cadogan Petroleum with the development of a project HSE Management system, Occupational and Operational HSE assessments and performed Quantatitive Risk Analysis studies for Cadogan’s operations in the Ukraine.

Client: Caspian Pipeline Consortium

Description of services:

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium transports crude oil from Tengiz field to the Novorossiysk-2 Marine Terminal on Russia's Black Sea coast. It is also a major export route for oil from the Kashagan and Karachaganak fields with a length of over 1500km. To support the ongoing operations phase and expansion plans, EPEn performed a complex and highly challenging Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) study for this piece of world-scale energy infrastruture.

Description of services:

EPEn have supported Chevron on a range of projects in the North Sea, in Nigeria and in Russia, providing services in the areas of Process Design and Process Modelling, Flow Assurance studies, Value Engineering, Shipping Risk Assessment, Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA).

Description of services:

One of the pioneers of the European shale gas industry; EPConsult Energies has provided Development Engineering and Engineering Project Management services.

Description of services:

EPEn has provided a range of specialised technical and engineering services to ExxonMobil over the past two decades, for projects and ongoing operations in the North Sea, Nigeria and the Russian Federation.

Client: Gazprom

Description of services:

EPEn supported Gazprom in the development of the Shtokman giant gas field by providing Pipeline Risk Assessment studies, Reliability Availability and Maintainability (RAM) studies and HSE Studies including water use and CO2 emission calculations.  
For the Al Badra CPF-2 project Refrigeration Package in Iraq, GAZPROM approached EPEn to review the Study Basis, Methodology, and RAM Results on the detailed RAM study performed by the specialist RAM consultant. EPEn performed a detailed gap analysis and developed recommendations for updating the RAM Study.

Description of services:

Field Development Planning and Conceptual Engineering including process simulation and flow assurance in Uganda and Kurdistan.

Client: Ineos Oil and Gas Denmark (formerly DONG Energy)

Description of services:

EPEn has provided services and support to Ineos' operations and developments in the North Sea in the areas of: project delivery, structural engineering, production efficiency, OPEX review, asset integrity management, life extensiion, and organisational optimisation. 

Client: Kuwait National Petroleum Corporation

Description of services:

Value Engineering study leading to cost and risk reduction.

Client: Orsted

Description of services:

We have provided technical expertise to Ørsted’s Offshore Wind projects and operations on the East and West coast of England. The work involved preparation of Environmental Management Plans, Quality Plans, HSE Plans, and Implementation Risks Assessment. The work was performed for intra-field and export cables and for wind turbine systems.

Description of services:

Concept Engineering studies and FEED safety and risk assessment studies including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL and Loss Prevention for an offshore platform in the Republic of Congo.

Client: Petronas

Description of services:

Pacific Northwest Liquefied Natural Gas: This new development by Petronas, the Malaysian Giant, for LNG production using Canadian natural gas resources. The proposed plant is to be located offshore Canada on Lelu Island south of Prince Rupert in British Columbia. Production is planned now for 12,800,000 tonnes of LNG/annum with an option for a further 50% in the future. The FEED HAZOP for the project was chaired by EPEn. This project has recently been approved by legislators.

Client: Pluspetrol

Description of services:

A Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) in Peru for Pluspetrol’s Malvinas gas processing plant. The Malvinas plant forms a key part of the facilities for the Camisea gas development – the most important gas development in South America.

Client: Reliance Industries

Description of services:

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) operates the world's largest refinery complex in Jamnagar, India. This complex comprises of two refineries and the objective of the Jamnagar 3 Integration Project was to integrate the operation of the 2 refineries. Working with our partner Bechtel our main scope of work for this project was to prepare a Basis of Design and undertake steady state and dynamic process simulation.

Client: Royal Dutch Shell

Description of services:

Safety Case development for the Ultra High Pressure High Temperature Shearwater project including EERA and fire escalation studies; QRA for the Corrib project in Ireland with focus on onshore pipeline route optimization; Bonga FPSO safety and risk assessment studies; and research round-up report on Low Dosage Hydrate Inhibitors for challenging tie-back projects.

Description of services:

We worked with Total E&P on projects in the Arctic, North Sea, Europe, Middle East, Africa and South America, providing among other Concept Studies, Flow Assurance, HIPPS Assessment, Process Safety, Blow Down analysis and SIL Validation, Projects and Operations Risk Assessment, QRA, RAM and heavy oil and waxy crude design solutions.

Description of services:

South Lokichar Basin Phase 1 Development Project. EPConsult Energies have recently completed a Reliability Availability and Maintainability (RAM)/CAPEX Assessment for Tullow’s South Lokichar Development in Kenya which has resulted in substantial savings.
